Installation Guide – Origins Living Sloane Round LED Magnifying Mirror Black SLN-017302-BK

Please read these instructions fully before beginning installation. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current IEE wiring regulations and local building regulations.

Important Safety Information

• Disconnect the mains power supply before installation.
• This mirror is IP44 rated and suitable for bathroom zone 2 installation.
• Ensure the wall is capable of supporting the mirror safely.
• Do not modify any electrical components.
• Use appropriate wall fixings for the wall type.
• Installation must comply with all local electrical regulations.

Product Specifications

Tools Required

• Electric drill
• Suitable drill bits
• Spirit level
• Screwdriver
• Pencil
• Tape measure
• Wall plugs and screws

Installation Steps

1. Positioning the Mirror

Hold the wall plate against the wall in the desired location. Use a spirit level to ensure the mounting plate is level and mark the fixing holes with a pencil.

2. Drill the Fixing Holes

Drill holes at the marked positions using a suitable drill bit for the wall type. Insert the appropriate wall plugs securely into the holes.

3. Electrical Connection

Feed the electrical supply cable through the rear opening of the mounting plate. Connect the live, neutral and earth wires to the terminal block as indicated.

Ensure all connections are tight and correctly insulated before proceeding.

4. Secure the Mounting Plate

Fix the mounting plate securely to the wall using the supplied screws.

5. Attach the Mirror Assembly

Carefully align the mirror assembly with the mounted bracket and secure it according to the fixing mechanism provided.

6. Test the Mirror

Restore the power supply and test the LED lighting and touch sensor controls. Cycle through the colour temperature settings to confirm correct operation.

Operating Instructions

• Touch the sensor switch to turn the LED light on or off.
• Hold or tap the sensor to cycle between lighting temperatures.
• Adjust the extending arm carefully for the desired viewing position.
• Fold the mirror back against the wall when not in use.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean using a soft damp cloth only.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Dry the mirror after cleaning to maintain the finish.
• Check fixings periodically to ensure continued stability.
